Dubs Alive Records is proud to introduce San Francisco Bay Area producer and DJ, SBVRSV. Conceptualized in 2012 whilst merging activism and bass-culture, SBVRSV explores personal artistic experience and intellectual struggles engineered with sound system sensibilities.
His self titled, debut release is a culmination of influences. Blending dark and minimal Bass Music with elements of Techno and the Ambient sounds found throughout the electronic world, SBVRSV brings a sonic concept reminiscent of Dystopic Sci-fi films and video games, tweaked for the subwise fanatic.
2014 brings breadth yet focus in developing the “Future Dub” sound of Dubs Alive Records, and this EP decidedly represents the deeply dark and minimal side of what Dubstep means for the future of Dub Music.
